Part Deux? (A New Beginning)

  • Mood: Thoughtful
  • Music: Sound of Mariners ball game on TV.. GO SEATTLE!
  • Odds n' Ends: The antique stove I bought for $10 actually WORKS!!!!
  • What the stars say today: You can sense your own strength of purpose, but self-awareness isn't enough. You must overcome your own inertia and take some action, for if you don't do it now, you'll regret it later on. Be careful that you don't get involved in emotional power struggles as you try to hold your own position. Be resolute but kind.

Wow, has it really been a month? So much has happened that it seems so much longer... I've got a new job which is working out very well... the rental house I am working on is a bit of a wreck now, but is coming along nicely... and it is being brought back from that wreckage by a lot of wonderful people who love me and want me to be happy here and I feel so blessed to have them all in my life.

Interesting developments where DH is concerned... we're speaking again, and we've agreed to work on things and see how they progress... DD & I will NOT be moving back to Las Vegas, so he and I will remain seperated as I work on building what I want for my life and for our child up here.  We are returning to Las Vegas this weekend to get the rest of our things.  I will keep you updated but for now am pretty beat as I spend my days at work, my evenings working on the house and the nights in a semi-comatose state...

I hope you all are doing well.. I will be better about updates as soon as we're well and truly "settled" in.   Thank you all for your support and your well wishes...

It sounds like things are working out up there in the Far North! Correction--you're making them work. This didn't happen by magic. Well done. You are so lucky to have a supportive family who could help you, but the decisions and follow-through were your own. I'm really happy for you. :)

Hugs to you and DD and your loving family. I think of you often and wonder if you're okay. It's such a sad situation that you and DD are going through. I'm glad you and Dh are communicating, that is so important for DD.

I thank you for waking me up this morning with calling me Dee again. You know, You must be psychic, my friend. It's the strangest thing because my reason for having to stop being me, Dee, isn't an issue anymore. So, now I can be me, Dee again. lol Gosh I are goofy... lol

Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous week and I pray your life gets easier and happier everyday.
